Introduction
In her talk, Cecilia Adelöw takes a look at the treatment strategies of epilepsy and what type of evidence there is behind different approaches. Patients with drug-resistant epilepsy are often treated with more than one ASM, but polytherapy so far has been rather poorly studied1. She also discusses the chances of success estimated for different treatment strategies and the optimal timing to move to next treatment.
